1912 Serbia, Bulgaria and Greece attack the Ottoman Empire in the 1st Balkan War, resulting in, among other things, the creation of the nation of Albania. Republic of China established with Sun Yat-sen as the president. |
1913 Bulgaria attacks Serbia and Greece in a second Balkan War, but loses. France increase its army size by extending the required military service from two to three years. |
