1810 Congress ended a ban on trade with Britain and France, who continued to be at war. |
1811 Trade with Britain was ended again, after Britain continued to enforce its blockade of France by attacking U.S. ships. Indian forces allied under Chief Tecumseh were defeated in the Battle of Tippecanoe on November 7. |
